Inside the earbuds of … Keith Williams

Welcome to this week’s installment of Inside the Earbuds of… Keith Williams is more than just a pretty face. The Vermont-bred smartypants – runs, writes, loves Brooklyn and happens to regularly geek-out about music, albums, artists and songs. Enjoy Keith's latest picks!

Keith Williams Red Hook Crit re2013 has been a stellar year for music. Every time I convince myself that my latest obsession will be the Album of the Decade, another disc comes out of nowhere with a strong challenge. Some, like Vampire Weekend's Modern Vampires of the City, are instantly and universally likable; others, like Yeezus by Kanye West, are an acquired taste.

I've got a "classic" playlist that serves as my normal workout music, so I decided to challenge myself with a playlist just of music from the last seven months. It was a bit too easy for my liking.

1. FIDLAR – Cheap Beer 2. Kanye West – Black Skinhead 3. Daft Punk – Lose Yourself to Dance 4. Robert DeLong – Global Concepts 5. Tegan And Sara – Closer 6. Capital Cities – Safe and Sound 7.
