2013 has been a stellar year for music. Every time I convince myself that my latest obsession will be the Album of the Decade, another disc comes out of nowhere with a strong challenge. Some, like Vampire Weekend's Modern Vampires of the City, are instantly and universally likable; others, like Yeezus by Kanye West, are an acquired taste.
I've got a "classic" playlist that serves as my normal workout music, so I decided to challenge myself with a playlist just of music from the last seven months. It was a bit too easy for my liking.
1. FIDLAR – Cheap Beer 2. Kanye West – Black Skinhead 3. Daft Punk – Lose Yourself to Dance 4. Robert DeLong – Global Concepts 5. Tegan And Sara – Closer 6. Capital Cities – Safe and Sound 7.
