Turkey Trot

The Turkey Trot is completely sold out. See you all on November 22nd!

One of Brooklyn’s most popular races, this spectacular 5-miler is the perfect way to kick off your holiday season! The early start time guarantees you’ll make it home for turkey. Walkers are welcome, but due to liability reasons we cannot allow strollers or pets.

We will be offering Charity Bibs as part of the PPTC Grants Program; see details below! If you are a PPTC member and would like to volunteer for the race, please look for the info in our Google Group.

The Race

Turkey Trot Map

You’ll start on Center Drive near East Drive. When you finish near the Lakeside Center, one of our local heroes will place a medal around your neck. We strongly recommend you use mass transit. The Q train and the B12, B16, B41, and B43 buses work well. (Google Maps can give you precise directions.)

  • The race starts at 9AM.

  • Bag check and toilets will be provided. There are also lockers available for rent at Lakeside. PPTC is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

  • The giveaway for this race will be a great winter hat and all finishers will receive a medal. If you’re fast enough to place in the top three, you’ll also receive one of our famous holiday pies!

  • Water will be available on the course, and bagels, spreads, fresh fruit, and hot chocolate will make up a great post race spread to greet you at the finish line.

Walkers are welcome, but due to liability reasons we cannot allow strollers or pets.

Packet Pickup

We strongly encourage all runners to pick up their packets before race day. This year we’re offering pickup at a new, convenient Downtown Brooklyn location: Modell’s (at 464 Fulton St, Brooklyn, NY 11201) on the following dates:

You may pick up bibs for your friends/family. Please have their full name as registered with NYCRUNS.
