Support and Sponsorship

Support

Prospect Park Track Club (PPTC) is a dynamic 501(c)3 non-profit organization that is entirely volunteer-led. We organize community-driven races and social events for runners. Beyond this, PPTC supports other Brooklyn running and community-based organizations through our grants program and race assistance fund. While the club’s membership includes primarily Brooklyn-based runners, PPTC’s events and community impact reach runners throughout New York City’s five boroughs and beyond.

Sponsorship Opportunities

PPTC races and associated events offer our sponsorship partners a range of community engagement and marketing opportunities that reach thousands of New Yorkers and visitors. We depend on donations from our generous sponsors to offset race operational costs to provide the best race experiences possible for all. Each sponsorship opportunity is tailored to the needs of our partners, and can potentially include:

●  Naming opportunities and signage placement

●  Social media and press acknowledgement

●  Story-based community engagement events

Our team will work closely with you to create a relationship-driven sponsorship opportunity that positively benefits the NYC running community, local non-profit partners, and your company.

Race Events and Community Impact

PPTC hosts 10 annual races, including:

●  PPTC Cherry Tree 10-Miler & Relay Race in February

●  PPTC Al Goldstein Speed Series: Seven 5K races from May through August

●  PPTC Turkey Trot Race for Reconciliation 5 Miler race on Thanksgiving

●  PPTC Endurance Fest in December, with 50 mile/50k distances

All told, these races attract over 7,500 runners each year.

Each race takes place in Prospect Park in Brooklyn, New York — our club’s home base and namesake, and one of the busiest parks in NYC. Our races are volunteer-led, and serve local communities throughout NYC by offering affordable, family-friendly racing opportunities. Our races are also well known throughout the NYC running community and are an important part of NYC’s competitive racing calendar.
