Volunteer Program
Volunteering is another incredible way to give back to the club, and by doing so, you will earn volunteer points (VPs).
We have made some updates to how points can be earned/redeemed, so please be sure to familiarize yourself with the below opportunities and reward options.
Earning Points:
Points accrue within a calendar year and members will have up to two years to spend their points:
Points accrued in 2022 expire after 12/31/2023
Points accrued in 2023 expire after 12/31/2024
2022 points can be combined with 2023 points through 12/31/2023
Example scenario: Alex accrues 5 points in 2022 and 5 points in 2023. They can redeem the total of 10 points for a reward through 12/31/2023. If no reward is redeemed, 5 points (accrued in 2023) will carry forward to 2024.
Point Earning Opportunities:
Some things that do not count for credit: running races, cheering at races, participating in Coach Tony’s speed classes, attending the monthly meeting.
Redeeming Points:
10 points: membership renewal
50 points: a PPTC race credit
75 points: a unique PPTC wearable item (details forthcoming)
100 points: a unique PPTC non-wearable item (details forthcoming)
Please reach out to volunteer@pptc.org when you are ready to redeem your points. You may view your current points total in your Wild Apricot profile.
