PPTC defends its turf at Al Gordon

73 red shirts finished in Saturday's NYRR Al Gordon Classic 4-miler, fending off a light sleet to take care of business in the club's home park. The PPTC Women's team finished second, with Lynda Mules leading the way at 26:22 (6:36/mi), putting her in first for her age group and ninth of all females. Lynda has begun her Masters career with a bang; it started on her birthday with a 3:39:02 in Baltimore, and continued last weekend when she ran on the PPTC relay team at the Millrose Games. In total, 14 PPTCers took age-group honors, with Maggie Deschamps (29:25, 7:22/mi) claiming the top prize in the 45-49 category. A full list of PPTC results can be found here; age-group finishers are below.
