Gearing up for the Scotland 10K!

It's time to add a little tartan to your trusty red and white, PPTC'ers!

This Saturday, April 6, kicks off the Scotland 10k, a favorite springtime race amongst runners and spectators alike. The course takes runners on a rather hilly tour of Central Park, starting at 8:00 am on West Drive near West 67th, and ending 6.2 miles later at West

62nd.

Runners looking for a distraction from the impending Harlem Hills, be on the lookout for the PPTC banner and cheering squad--a little team encouragement can help you reach great heights, quite literally! Also, listen for the Scottish drummers and bagpipers throughout the course, sure to put a kick in your kilt, er, step.

We've got a growing list of PPTC members running this one. If you haven't already, remember to add yourself to the Target Races Spreadsheet--this is a NYRR Club Points race, and we'd like to see Brooklyn represent!

Look for our team colors in the festival area, as we'll be gathering to enjoy the live Scottish entertainment and posing for a team photo after completing the 6.2.

Scotland Run and Post-Race Meet-Up!

For those looking for some post-race action, join us back in Brooklyn at 3 pm, where we'll be celebrating PR's and race re-capping at 61 Local in Cobble Hill. Enjoy drinks and snacks with your team, because, after all, refueling is the best part. (More information here!)

If you're participating in the Scotland 10K, let us know--What are your goals?
