Inside the earbuds of … Jess Yeomans
Welcome to this week’s installment of Inside the Earbuds of… Warm-up, sprints, tempo, cool down! Nothing makes a workout better than the perfect playlist. Jess Yeomans shares hers!
Turns out that I have about 7 different playlists just for running! Here's a little selection of my most trusted tunes to get me through a workout. To make sure I start my run at the right pace – my playlists always start with a couple of soft songs. Tunes pick up intensity until I am running full force by my 4th track, in this case, “Midnight City” by M83. A few softer songs are sprinkled throughout the mix to keep me relaxed and focused, but still on pace. I finish off with sprint interval jams, in this case "Africa" and "Pound the Alarm".
Judge not. Guilty pleasure songs and dance music get me moving.
