Inside the earbuds of … Evan Oakley
Welcome to this week’s installment of Inside the Earbuds of… Sometimes the best time for an upbeat playlist is during your regular routine when you need a motivating soundtrack to get through the day. Evan Oakley shares a few of his top tunes...
Allow me to immediately disqualify myself and admit that I have never run with a playlist and I never do any kind of cardio while listening to music. But I do listen to music when I walk to, let’s say, the library to pick-up a DVD of Downton Abbey. Below are a few of the tunes that give my hips an embarrassing swing en route to the circulation desk. Lastly, I'd like to warn everyone that the Danny Brown track is wildly inappropriate. And also note that the unforgivable/undeniable "Kiss You All Over" is in direct retaliation to Wallis' "Hot Child in the City".
1. Golden Earring - Radar Love 2. Mick Harvey - Out of Time Man 3. Neko Case - Hold On, Hold On 4. Old ‘97s - 4 Leaf Clover 5. Belle & Sebastian - Piazza, New York Catcher 6.
