Weekend Preview: June 01-02

Yay! It’s the weekend and it looks like it’s going to be a hot and humid one. Tonight was the AHA NYRR Wall Street Run. Did any PPTCers brave the hot sun and run the 3 miles down Wall St? Did you PR, run for fun, faint in the heat, or all of the above?

Coming up this Sunday in Prospect Park is the Kenny Dolan Memorial 5K. This race is the first leg of the Brooklyn Triple Crown. The start time is 10am. The Brooklyn Triple Crown race series is a perennial PPTC favorite -- we always have a strong showing at these races, with many members taking home age group and team awards at each race and for the entire series.

Also this Sunday is the NYRR Celebrate Israel Run (4M) in Central Park, starting at 8:00am.

National Running Day is on Wednesday, June 5. Celebrate by running, cheering, or volunteering at PPTC’s Al Goldstein 5K in Prospect Park. Race starts at 7pm.
