Whether you're a "vintage" PPTC member or a recent addition to the club, you know that December in Brooklyn means one thing: our annual club run to enjoy the holiday light display in Dyker Heights -- and then enjoy food and drinks afterwards. We'll meet at Bartel-Pritchard at 7, and set off to Dyker Heights on the route posted below (4.47 miles). Then, after viewing the lights, we'll repair to the Salty Dog in Bay Ridge for more holiday cheer (a little over a mile away). Bring cash, a metrocard, and fluids if you need them (we won't check your flask to see if it contains water or something stronger). You might want to bring an extra layer so you don't get too chilled when we stop running and walk around to admire the lights.
All paces welcome; we'll arrange buddies so no one gets lost. We're going to do a staggered start with slower runners (11:00+) starting at 6:45, and faster folks starting at 7. This increases the likelihood of our meeting up in Dyker Heights. If you're unsure of your pace, start with the slower group, and then you can always join one of the faster groups when they pass us.
Here's the route we've used the last two years:

If you want to meet us along the way, let us know where you'll be so we don't stand around BPS waiting for you
