What's red, jolly, and adept at eating cookies quickly? The PPTC Holiday Party, of course! Join us for the annual party on Sun 12/16 at the Halyards. Festivities kick off at 3 pm, and go till 6 pm (or whenever you feel like heading home).

Location: Halyards, 406 3rd Ave (at 6th St), Brooklyn, NY (closest train: 4th & 9th FGR)

Potluck: We'll have some food, but if you want to bring a dish to share, that would be appreciated! In an effort to have more savory food this year, we're suggesting that folks with last names A-Q bring something savory, and R-Z bring something sweet. This is a great opportunity to showcase your favorite recipe with the rest of our club! Don't forget to bring your container/leftovers home at the end of the party.

Gift Exchange: We'll have a white-elephant gift exchange, MC'ed by our very own Nick Cohen! If you want to participate, please bring a wrapped, running-related gift (~$20). Anyone who brings a gift will have their names thrown in a hat. Names will then be called, and you can either open one of the remaining gifts, or "steal" one that has already been opened by someone else. Gifts may only be stolen once.

Shoe Drive: If you'd like to do good this holiday season, we will collect shoes at the party for Back On My Feet, a non-profit that helps homelessness through the power of running. The donated shoes can be non-running shoes. More details TBA.

Drinks: Please support the Halyards by buying a drink, as they have generously provided space for us free of charge! Note that the main bar area will be open to the public during the party, but the Back Room is exclusively for us. Please do not bring your own alcoholic beverages.

Suggested Attire: Your ugliest holiday sweater or something festive!
