As the old song goes, "Hanuka, oh Hanuka, come draw the menorah...." Well, the song actually says "light" the menorah, but we'll be lighting the menorah with our feet as we kick off the 8-day holiday by tracing the shape of a menorah on the streets of Park Slope. We'll meet at the corner of Union Street and Prospect Park West (PPW), then head over to 7th Street and PPW to start "drawing" the menorah. The design says about 6 miles but we may end up doing a little more because of Linus' special technique to get a nice design which involves turning your GPS off at certain points (we'll explain on the 22nd). Post-run food plan is to visit Mile End Deli, featuring Montreal-style Jewish food, at 97 Hoyt Street, but depending on the size of our group, we may go elsewhere. Please indicate in the comments whether you plan to join us for post-run brunch so we can inform the restaurant of how large our group will be. The run will be "No Runners Left Behind".
