*****
Celebrate Earth Day by joining Prospect Park Track Club in running/walking loop(s) around Prospect Park followed by a walk around Brooklyn's own Botanic Garden. Admission to the garden is free on Fridays from 8am-noon.
Afterward, meet us at the Yellow Magnolia Café located inside the Botanic Garden open from 11:00am-4:00pm. The Yellow Magnolia Café is named after the remarkable flower developed by Brooklyn Botanic Garden. All cuisine is crafted with seasonal ingredients sourced from local farms and purveyors—an ethos in keeping with the Garden’s longstanding interest in sustainable practices—and menus inspired by Brooklyn’s artisanal food movement. The café is bright and airy and overlooks the Garden’s Lily Pool Terrace, a perfect place to love and appreciate all things our beloved Earth has to offer us.
Please be to sure to RSVP to the event. We are holding a reservation at the café and would like to know approximate numbers of those joining.
