Join us for the 3rd fireworks run of the season! Christine will be hosting. We meet at 7:45 pm at the Horse Tamers Statue at Park Circle, and leave promptly at 8. You're welcome to join up along the way as we run down the pedestrian path on Ocean Parkway, or just meet us at Ruby's on the boardwalk. Fireworks start at 9:30. All paces welcome, and we'll make sure everyone has someone to run with.

Bring water, Metrocard and money or credit card. There are no water fountains or other amenities along the way. Ruby's is near the Stillwell Avenue subway station so there are many options for taking the train back.

STARTING POINT: The Horse Tamers Statues are at the Parkside Avenue and Prospect Park SW entrance to the park, across from the Tennis House. We meet outside the park, not inside.

ROUTE: Run around Park Circle to Ocean Parkway. Run along the Ocean Parkway Greenway until you get to Surf Avenue. Here you have some choices:(1) run along Surf Avenue until you pass the Cyclone, run up to the boardwalk, hang a right and continue along the boardwalk until you get to Ruby's. (2) Run up the ramp to the boardwalk and run along the boardwalk until you get to Ruby's. (2) Run up the ramp, across the boardwalk and down onto the beach and run along the sand.

TOTAL DISTANCE: about 6 miles starting from Park Circle.
