We all know how bad 2020 was and how bleak coming into 2021 seemed…….. Well it’s gotten much better!

Welcome back to the world of in person races. PPTC Team Captains are excited to help you run a Fall Marathon this year if you do not have any planned.

PPTC has 4 Non Complimentary bibs to the NYCM for 2021. We will be holding another #PickMePPTC contest for active PPTC members.

Here are the details:

• Create a social media post to tell the club why you should be picked to run 2021 NYCM

  • Approximately 200 words and Include when you joined the club

  • Instagram (Can Not be an insta story)

  • Facebook ( Can Not be FB story)

  • Tag #PickMePPTC and @prospectparktc

  • or email your story to captains@pptc.org

• Pictures and videos are encouraged

• Selection will go as follow:

  • 2 members will be randomly drawn by PPTC Captains (Names out of a hat)

    • New Members after July 1, 2019

    • Old Members prior to June 30, 2019

  • 2 members will be voted on by PPTC Club members (Ranked Voting)

    • New Members after July 1, 2019

    • Old Members prior to June 30, 2019

• The submission dates will be June 1 to June 10

• The Captains will compile all the entries and conduct the random drawing.

• The 2 random winners will be removed from the club voting

• The voting period will open June 11 to 13, Winners will be notified by June 14.

• Please DO NOT APPLY:

  • If you already have a Fall marathon for this year. We want to give members who didn’t get into a marathon this year a chance to run.

  • If you are injured or unable to complete marathon training for NYCM on Nov 7.

  • If you are Not willing to pay the entry fee of approximately $255 for NYRR members and $295 for non-members.

• NYRR Runner Services will email winners after July 1 with details to complete the registration. Runners have until August 27 to complete registration; if registration is not completed by this date, the bib will be forfeited.
