Our speaker for the June PPTC General Club meeting is Grace Gonzales of Angel City Elite, a professional team of BIPOC women runners based in Los Angeles, CA.

Grace Gonzales is an educator, yoga facilitator, and elite athlete. She is a member of Angel City Elite, a recently announced elite distance running team based in Los Angeles and sponsored by Brooks. Running has been a part of Grace's life from a young age, and the thought of competitive running ended in her early 20's only to pick it back up again about four years later. Fast forward four years, Grace and her teammates reflected on their experience at the 2020 Marathon Olympic Trials and the lack of diversity. They collaborated to unite as a team with a goal to go beyond just representation and work towards bridging the gap of BIPOC runners within the running community.
