Fall's in the air and you know what that means! Fall marathons, but most importantly the NYC Marathon are just around the corner.
Join us at our Oct General Club Meeting as a panel of our members discuss the NYC Marathon. If you have questions about training, logistics, course strategy, fuel, or simply curious about the experience of running the NYC Marathon, this is the meeting for you! We strongly recommend any members who will be running the NYC Marathon for the first time to attend as our panelists are veterans of this race.

Janice Fuld began running at the age of 38, after taking a beginning runners' class. She had gotten into biking a few years earlier and had thought she might want to try doing a triathlon. She realized, however, that in order to do that she would need to be able to run. After successfully completing the running class and a few running races, she ended up successfully completing a few sprint triathlons. Since then, she has been doing less biking and more running and has now completed over 60 half marathons and 13 marathons (including running the NYC marathon 12 times). When she is not running, she works on the Kids Media and Education team at The WNET Group/ Channel 13 and also has been teaching virtual art classes to kids since the beginning of the pandemic. Janice, who joined PPTC in 2009, just recently joined the PPTC board and was the MC of PPTC's inaugural talent show.
