From Discord, we know there are quite a few PPTC-ers who will be trekking across two rivers and an island to my neck of the woods in Jersey City to run the inaugural Jersey City Marathon/Half Marathon in April. So it is with great pleasure that the guest speaker for our January meeting will be Steve Lipski, the race director for the Jersey City Marathon/Half Marathon.

Steve Lipski is an avid runner, run supporter, and a member of Jersey City Runners. He has run numerous races, including 12 marathons. In addition he has been the race director for several races and donated all of the proceeds to charity. Steve is planning the upcoming inaugural Jersey City Marathon/Half Marathon which promises to be a blast.

If you have any questions about the race or you're a little curious about what it's like to run a race in a foreign country, I mean, New Jersey, this is the meeting for you! Plus, as always we will have delicious pizza from Da Nonna Rosa.
