Who knew math could taste so good?! Just us for our annual PPTC Pi Day Pie Run on Tuesday, March 14th. We’ll meet at Grand Army Plaza at 7pm and run a 3.14 mile route to Peete’s Pie Company in Brooklyn. There will also be a more direct 1.8 mile route for those who want to get their pie ASAP!
Why 3.14 miles? Pi Day is a day devoted to celebrating pi, the irrational number (approximately 3.14) that results from dividing the length of the circumference of a circle by the length of its diameter…or it is just another excuse to eat pie.
There will be a sign-up sheet on the PPTC Group Run Weekly Google Doc posted soon.
