Back On My Feet Run

  • 20 Grand Army Plaza NY, 11238 United States (map)

Back On My Feet is an organization that helps the homeless hit the ground running. Members commit to running regularly, restoring confidence and self-esteem, and are provided with housing and employment resources, along with volunteer mentors and partners.

Now BOMF is opening a new chapter in Brooklyn, which will increase opportunities for PPTC members to volunteer and for the organizations to work together. We're starting our collaboration on November 10th to mark the beginning of Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week with a shoe drive and a group run spelling out the letters BOMF.

You can drop off usable shoes (they don't have to be running shoes but they do need to be wearable) at 8:00am and they will be part of a fundraiser for BOMF (you can bring shoes even if you don't do the run).

Then at 8:30am, we will run approximately 4 miles to spell out the letters BOMF (route art courtesy of Linus Ly).
