We're going to make Shalene Flanagan and Elyse Kopecky's Superhero muffins!
We selected this as our first bake because we wanted to start with a relatively simple recipe for the first event. Its easily alterable for those who need it to be gluten or nut free.
Additionally, Shalene Flanagan is a running and cooking inspiration for many of us, so it was the perfect on-brand recipe to begin with. All you experienced bakers should join us for the camaraderie anyway. We will definitely start ramping up the fanciness as we do more bakes in this series.
