Join your favorite running club for one of our most popular annual fun runs: to see the extravagant holiday lights in Dyker Heights. This run holds a special place in my heart because back in 2015 it was the very first time I ran with the club. And this year, it's the day after my birthday. So, all the more reason to celebrate. This run is "no runner left behind" or "no drop" so we'll make sure everyone has a pace partner, and we'll do a staggered start with slower runners going first.

After you've had your fill of lights head over to The Salty Dog for refreshments in Bay Ridge at 3rd Ave and 76th Street! The distance from BPS to our meeting place in Dyker Heights is approximately 4.75 miles. It's about another 1.5 miles to the Salty Dog (depending upon where you end up after looking at the lights).

Check the weather report and consider bringing an extra layer in a backpack or tied around your waist as you will cool off quite a bit once you stop running and start meandering around looking at the lights

Bring a Metrocard (unless you plan to run back or take some more costly mode of transportation) and cash or a credit card for your post-run repast.
